Reception Services
Our receptionists are highly trained professionals that are skilled in phone etiquette, customer service and administrative responsibilities.
Some of the typical responsibilities of our receptionists are:
- Operates switchboard and public address system
- Copy-types information such as lists and messages, sorts and files forms, documents and resident financial information
- Assists all departments with clerical duties as assigned, including clerical preparation of Nursing Charts for new admissions
- Handles monies for residents’ Rent and Non-Rent charges, as well as deposits to and withdrawals from residents' trust accounts, issuing the appropriate receipts for these transactions
- Monitors and reports residents’ activity and behaviors in the Reception/Lounge area, including wandering residents
- Performs a variety of typing and data entry duties as directed, including correspondence, forms and residents’ records etc
- Sorts and distributes incoming mail and processes outgoing mail daily
- Provides backup for residents’ call lights and advises Nursing Personnel via paging system
- Calls in and replaces staff as required following the “Casual Call-In” Procedure
